Police are investigating the apparent overdoses of two people in Yorktown. Cops were called to a home at 984 Hanover Street around 4:30 Saturday afternoon following a report of two people who were unresponsive.

The two were declared dead at the scene. They were identified as 22 year old Thomas Plant and 21 year old Gwendolyn Farrell. 

Officials say it appears at this point, that the two died of an apparent drug overdose. An autopsy is planned to determine their exact cause of death.
