Westchester County Receives Medicaid Reimbursment Check For Fighting Fraud

Westchester County today received a Medicaid reimbursment check for its ongoing efforts to identify waste, fraud and abuse in the Medicaid program.

The check, which totals $61,401 was presented to County Executive Rob Astorino by New York State Medicaid Inspector General James Sheehan for Medicaid overpayments detected and recovered as a result of a state and local collaboration.
