Charges Dropped Against Pace University Students
As expected, a judge today dropped charges against four Pace University football players arrested the night their fellow teammate Danroy (DJ) Henry was shot and killed by police.
The four, Joseph Romanick,Yves Delpeche, Joseph Garcia and Daniel Parker had been charged with disorderly conduct,obstruction and criminal mischief following the October 17, 2010 shooting of Henry. Romanick had also been charged with felony criminal mischief.
Boil Water Advisory Posted for 9 Westchester Communities
Residents 9 Westchester County Communities are being advised to boil their water before drinking it or using it for food preparation as a precaution until further notice due to the high turbidity at the New York City Department of Environmental Protection Catskill Aqueduct.
People living in Briarcliff, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Elmsford, Grasslands Reservation, Hawthorne, Irvington, Valhalla and Thornwood are all affected.
Mount Pleasant Police Promise Thorough Investigation Into Pace University Student Shooting

Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno today promised a thorough investigation into yesterday's shooting death by police of a Pace University student during a wild disturbance outside Finnegan's Grill in Thornwood.
Alagno says the two officers were forced to shoot 20 year old Danroy Henry after he allegedly failed to stop his car and drove into the two cops, resulting in one of them being thrown onto the hood of Henry's vehicle.
Suspect Shot and Killed Following Bar Brawl in Thornwood
Mount Pleasant Police say a man was shot and killed following a wild disturbance early this morning at Finnegans Grill at 1006 Broadway at the Town Center Shopping Center in Thornwood.
Officials say at 1:19 a.m., a Village of Pleasantville police officer observed a large, unruly group of patrons who had been gathering in front of the bar's parking lot and requested assistance.
