Two Arrested for Prostitution in Yorktown
Westchester County and Yorktown Police have announced the arrest of two employees of a Mohegan Lake health spa on prostitution charges.
Officials say, in response to complaints from local residents, detectives from the county police General Investigations Unit and the Yorktown Police Department conducted a joint undercover operation at the Hana Health Center, a massage parlor located on the second floor of 1903 East Main Street in Mohegan Lake.
Two women were arrested after allegedly performing unlicensed massages and offered to perform sex acts in exchange for money.
Under arrest are 46 year old Jin Ming Hua and 47 year old Ming Yu Cao, both of Flushing, Queens.
They've been charged with Practicing a Profession Without a License (massage), a felony and Prostitution, a misdemeanor.
Westchester Law Enforcement Turns Up Heat on Drug Traffickers
Westchester County is turning up the heat on drug traffickers. Its newly launched effort known as Operation Pressure Point kicked off a week ago, and already officials have seized two kilos of cocaine, a .50-caliber revolver and other handguns, more than $500,000 in cash and a quantity of heroin and marijuana.
