Power Outage Update: Over 38,000 Westchester Con Ed Customers in Dark

Con Edison has increased its estimate of customers without power in Westchester to over 16,000 as of 5:30 PM.

The bulk of the outages are in the city of New Rochelle, where over 4000 customers are in the dark. Mount Vernon, Scarsdale, and Harrison are also being hit hard.

Con Edison's estimating most customers will be restored between 9 and midnight tonight.
