The Yorktown Police Department is advising motorists of temporary road closures, detours and heavy traffic congestion on Tuesday June 15 between 1:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saw Mill River road (Rt. 202/35) between Commerce Street and Greenwood Street, the south end of Ridge Street, Hallock's Mill Road and Maple Hill Street for the wake of White Plains Police Officer Michael Perry. Perry , a resident of Cortlandt Manor, died Saturday night of an apparent heart attack, while chasing down a larceny suspect in White Plains. He was 43.
