White Plains Man Charged With Making Phony Driver's Licenses

A White Plains man has been charged with Forgery and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument after he allegedly made dozens of  fake Maryland and Virginia driver's licenses and sold them in Westchester County.

Police say the suspect, 19 year old Daniel Caposella of Quincy Lane was arrested last month on the felony charges and say additional felony charges may be forthcoming.Image

Somers Woman Charged With Forging Checks

Yorktown Police say an 18 year old Somers woman was arrested and charged with forgery after she allegedly stole checks from a woman's home and signed and cashed them.

Police say on November 20, they received a complaint from a woman who reported several checks were stolen from her residence. Cops then began an investigation and came up with a suspect after they discovered she had allegedly forged the victim's name to several of the stolen checks and cashed them at the Bank of America branch in Yorktown.

Anthony Vassell Lisa DaCostaOfficials say a patient care technician at Westchester Medical Center was arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly stealing credit cards from a gravely injured man and then using those cards to go on a shopping spree with his girlfriend.

Westchester County Police allege 33 year old Anthony Vassell stole credit cards belonging to 53 year old Daniel Bisk of Pleasantville after the gravely injured man was taken via helicopter to the hospital after his plane crashed in Dutchess County.
